Solar Eclipse Viewing Party

Join us for the astronomical event of 2024! On April 8th there will be a solar eclipse viewable in the United States. This event will not happen again in our area until 2044. We’ll be viewing the eclipse on special viewers. The first 150 guests will receive a free pair of solar-viewing goggles. We will also have some hands-on activities to help you and your child understand the phenomena of solar eclipses. The maximum coverage will happen at approximately 3:15 pm, but the transition will be slow. Although West Chester is not in the path of totality, there will still be a lot to see!
