Amber Stuver Memorial Family Astronomy Night

Have you ever looked up at the night sky and wondered exactly what it is you're looking at? Have you wanted to use a telescope to delve further into the beauty of our universe? Now's your chance!

This hands-on workshop, geared toward both adults and children, will feature expert staff to guide your family through the basics of astronomy. You'll also have the chance to learn about telescopes and how both astronomers and enthusiasts use them to learn more about the universe around us.

Weather permitting, workshop participants will also have the chance to do stargazing with the help of telescopes. Our staff will guide you through focusing and aiming the telescope, and teach participants about what you are seeing!

This event is presented in honor of the memory of valued museum volunteer, dedicated educator, and Villanova physics professor, Amber Stuver.
