About the event

Want to learn more about drones?  Want to build and fly your own drone to take home? Well, this is your week.

Students ages 6-12 will begin with the science of drone flight.  We will learn about radio-controlled airplanes and fly a variety of drones. We’ll discover that drones can be used in pipes, under the water, even on Mars.

You will also assemble your own drone to test and fly in a series of challenges!

A limited number of scholarships are available for our summer programs. For more information, email magdalena@helicoptermuseum.org.

Summer program runs July 27 - 31, from 10am to 3pm. After care is available for an additional cost from 3pm to 5pm. Please sign up for after care using the "After care for summer programs" option on the Summer Programs page of our website here.

The museum is closed to the public Thursdays and Fridays when Summer…
