About the event

Ever wondered what an electrical engineer does? Well, wonder no more! In this workshop, students will explore the symbols and components of electrical engineering. What is the difference between a resistor and a capacitor? A diode and a photoresistor? We’ll learn the difference and even build a circuit!

We will be joined by a guest teacher both weeks! Andrew Stuehrmann, a robotics engineer, FIRST Robotics Competition Judge, and electrical engineering enthusiast will help out with both workshops and give participants the opportunity to ask questions about engineering activities, education, and careers.

In this workshop, students ages 7-12 will learn about the fundamental elements of electrical engineering and perform hands-on experiments with what they have learned.
